1. A method, performed by a network node in a communication network, for negotiating a data transfer between an application service and a user equipment (UE) via the communication network, the method comprising:
receiving, from the application service or a backend controller associated with the application service, a request for network capacity available for data transfer, wherein the request includes an indication of an amount of data to be transferred, one or more trajectories of the UE and one or more quality-of-service (QoS) profiles for the data transfer;
determining network capacity along the one or more trajectories for each of the one or more QoS profiles based on load information associated with a radio access network (RAN) of the communication network; and
sending, to the application service or the backend controller associated with the application service, a response including information related to the determined network capacity along the one or more trajectories for each of the one or more QoS profiles.
