1. A battery pack management device, comprising:
a master battery management system (BMS) including:
an external communication unit configured to transmit and receive a signal to and from an external device of a battery pack, the battery pack including a battery module and being mountable on a vehicle,
an internal communication unit configured to transmit and receive a wireless communication signal to and from a slave BMS provided in the battery pack; and
a controller programmed to process data received through the external communication unit and the internal communication unit; and
the slave BMS including:
a state measurement module configured to measure state information of at least one of a voltage and a temperature of the battery module;
a wireless communication module configured to transmit and receive a wireless communication signal to and from the master BMS; and
a control module programmed to:
control an on/off time of the wireless communication module based on information of the vehicle,
maintain a predetermined turn-off time of the wireless communication module when the temperature of the battery module is between a first reference temperature and a second reference temperature,
increase a turn-off time of the wireless communication module when the temperature of the battery module is below the first reference temperature, and
decrease a turn-off time of the wireless communication module when the temperature of the battery module is above the second reference temperature.
