1. A sensor calibration system comprising:
a sensor apparatus including an event-driven vision sensor including a sensor array configured with sensors that generate event signals upon detection of a change in incident light intensity; and
a display apparatus including a display section configured to change luminance of a planar region instantaneously with a predetermined spatial resolution as per a calibration pattern of the sensors, wherein:
the calibration pattern includes: (i) a first calibration pattern having high luminance regions and low luminance regions, and (ii) a second calibration pattern having high luminance regions and low luminance regions that are inverted as compared with the first calibration pattern,
the display section operates to display a first luminance of the planar region in accordance with the first calibration pattern, and instantaneously thereafter, changing to display a second luminance of the planar region in accordance with the second calibration pattern, by way of the display apparatus instantaneously switching display of the first calibration pattern followed by displaying the second calibration pattern.
