1. A registration apparatus comprising:
at least one memory configured to store one or more instructions; and
at least one processor configured to execute the one or more instructions to:
acquire an image of a product, the image is obtained by imaging a placement surface of a table on which the product is placed;
recognize the product included in the image as a recognized product;
register the recognized product as a checkout target; and
output a name of the recognized product by voice,
wherein the processor is further configured to execute the one or more instructions to:
select, among recognized products including the recognized product, at least one product, as a selected at least one product, based on being determined to have both a reliability of a recognition result lower than a first reference value and a price equal to or higher than a second reference value;
output a name of the selected at least one product; and
based on a second recognized product of the recognized products being recognized while the name of the recognized product is being output by voice, interrupt processing for outputting the name of the recognized product by voice, and start processing for outputting a name of the second recognized product by voice.
