1. A system for monitoring a condition of an article comprising a conductive coating, the system comprising:
a measurement device electrically connectable to the conductive coating of the article configured to sense an electrical property of the conductive coating; and
a processor electrically connected to the measurement device, the processor being configured to:
receive the sensed electrical property of the conductive coating from the measurement device;
determine a resistance of the conductive coating based on the received sensed electrical property;
determine an estimated remaining usable life of the article based on a rate of change of the determined resistance of the conductive coating; and
generate an output signal representative of the determined estimated remaining usable life.
