1. An auto-tensioning pin comprising:
a pin housing having a first end, a second end and a hollow interior;
at least one retaining pin within at least one slot defined in the pin housing; and
a tensioning spring within the hollow interior of the pin housing between the first end and the second end;
wherein the at least one retaining pin is moveable within the at least one slot between a locked position wherein the tensioning spring is compressed within the pin housing and an unlocked position wherein the tensioning spring is extended within the pin housing.
