1. A thermosensitive recording medium comprising:
a base material;
a thermosensitive recording layer; and
an under layer disposed between the base material and the thermosensitive recording layer and containing a non-thermally-expandable hollow filler,
the thermosensitive recording medium containing a hydrocarbon,
wherein an amount of the hydrocarbon having from 3 through 16 carbon atoms is 0.2 mg/m2 or more relative to an area of the thermosensitive recording medium.
