11. Honing machine for honing a bore in a workpiece, comprising:
a support structure fixed to the honing machine;
at least one honing unit mounted on the support structure and comprising:
a main support configured to be mounted fixedly in relation to the support structure,
a spindle unit supported by the main support and in which a spindle shaft is rotatably mounted, wherein the spindle shaft is rotatable about a spindle axis by means of a rotary drive and, at a tool-side end, comprises a device for the fastening of a honing tool,
a linear guide system arranged between the main support and the spindle unit and serving for guiding a linear stroke movement of the spindle unit relative to the main support;
a stroke drive for generating the linear stroke movement of the spindle unit; and
an alignment system configured for a continuously variable, reversible setting of the alignment of the spindle axis in relation to the support structure, wherein setting of the alignment comprises:
an independent setting of the position of the spindle axis along two mutually perpendicular axes of translation and of the orientation of the spindle axis in relation to two mutually perpendicular axes of rotation;
wherein the alignment system comprises at least one setting unit comprising:
a base element configured for a fixed mounting on the support structure or on an adapter unit which is fixedly connectable to the support structure;
a wedge element comprising a first wedge surface facing towards the base element, and a second wedge surface facing towards the main support, wherein the wedge element is displaceable along a displacement direction;
an actuating device comprising at least one actuating element configured to generate a displacement of the wedge element in the displacement direction; and
an integrated spherical bearing comprising complementary sliding surfaces which lie on a spherical surface around a curvature centre.
