1. A photoactive product comprising:
a catechol-containing compound,
an amine-containing polymer, and
a photoactive material,
wherein the photoactive product has an enhancement in incident photon-to-electron conversion efficiency (IPCE) of at least 50% compared to unmodified photoactive material.
