1. A system for rehabilitation, comprising:
a monitoring device comprising (i) a memory device storing instructions and (ii) a network interface card, wherein the monitoring device is configured to detect first information from a body part of a user, wherein the monitoring device includes a goniometer coupled to the body part of the user, and wherein the first information includes angle information received from the goniometer; and
one or more processing devices operatively coupled to the monitoring device, wherein the one or more processing devices are configured to execute the instructions to:
receive second information that is different from the first information, wherein the second information corresponds to configuration information specified in a treatment plan for rehabilitating the body part of the user, and wherein the configuration information specifies (i) an operating mode of an electromechanical device to be implemented to perform the treatment plan and (ii) based on a target angle associated with the body part, a pedal position of the electromechanical device during execution of the treatment plan;
receive the first information from the monitoring device;
transmit the first information and the second information to a first computing device controlling the electromechanical device via the network interface card to cause the electromechanical device to (i) execute the treatment plan in accordance with the pedal position and (ii) selectively adjust, based on the first information, the pedal position specified by the configuration information;
while the user performs the treatment plan during an exercise session in which the angle information is received from the goniometer, transmit, via the network interface card, the first information to a second computing device remotely located from the first computing device and the electromechanical device, such that the second computing device is caused to present, while the user performs the treatment plan, the first information on a user interface of a clinical portal that is executed by the second computing device;
receive, while the user performs the treatment plan during the exercise session, a control signal generated in response to an input from a clinician at the clinical portal, wherein the control signal indicates an adjustment to be made, during execution of the treatment plan, to the pedal position of the electromechanical device; and
adjust, while the user performs the treatment plan during the exercise session and in response to the control signal generated by and received from the clinical portal, the pedal position of the electromechanical device.
