1. A dual-blade ophthalmic knife, comprising:
a handle;
a shaft connected to the handle;
a platform connected to the shaft, a front portion of the platform extending angularly outward from the shaft, wherein the platform comprises:
a first blade;
a second blade;
a front tip; and
a back end opposing the front tip; and
a sleeve configured to slideably move along the shaft, the sleeve comprising an extension member extending axially from a first end of the sleeve and at an angle relative to the front tip of the platform such that a parallel line projecting linearly from the extension member intersects the front tip, the extension member configured to push tissue down onto the first blade and the second blade.
