1. A bristle strip for a gutter broom, comprising:
a first bristle comprising a first end and a second end and folded at a center between the first end and the second end;
an insert;
an upper end comprising the center of the first bristle and encased in the insert; and
a lower end comprising the first end and the second end of the first bristle, the lower end bending towards the upper end to form an acute angle between the lower end and the upper end.
