1. A reception device, comprising:
receiving circuitry configured to receive a broadcast signal having a video stream, the video stream including encoded image data and auxiliary information for a super-high resolution of the encoded image data; and
processing circuitry configured to
process identifying information for a super-high definition service of the video stream,
apply processing for the super-high resolution to the encoded image data based on the auxiliary information, and
obtain display image data for display,
wherein the identifying information is included in a layer of the broadcast signal, such that the super-high definition service of the video stream can be identified at least on a per program basis.
