1. A high-voltage electrical cable assembly, comprising:
a central wire strand formed of a first alloy containing at least seven wires; and
a plurality of outer wire strands twisted around the central strand wherein each wire strand of the plurality of outer wire strands is formed of a second alloy and excludes the first alloy, wherein each of the outer wire strands contains at least seven wires, and wherein there is an electrochemical potential of about 2 volts between the first alloy and the second alloy.

9. A method of assembling a high-voltage electrical cable assembly, comprising:
providing a central wire strand formed of a first alloy containing at least seven wires; and
twisting a plurality of outer wire strands around the central strand, wherein each wire strand of the plurality of outer wire strands is formed of a second alloy and excludes the first alloy, wherein each of the outer wire strands contains at least seven wires, and wherein there is an electrochemical potential of about 2 volts between the first alloy and the second alloy.
