10. A connector assembly having an adjustable polarity, comprising:
a housing having a connection end and a cable end, the housing including a plug frame portion at the connection end and a back post portion at the cable end, the back post portion being formed for securing a fiber optic cable to the housing;
ferrules mounted in the plug frame portion of the housing, each ferrule extending along a ferrule axis;
a latch component connected to the housing and configured for releasably connecting the connector assembly to another optical device, the latch component comprising a latch portion and a receiving portion, the receiving portion receiving a portion of the housing therein, the latch component being configured to rotate on the housing about an axis parallel to the ferrule axes to change the polarity of the connector assembly from a first polarity to a second polarity.
