1. A method of operating a mobile platform for monitoring breeding periods of livestock, comprising:
receiving indication of mount activity, including indication of a number of individual mount incidents with respective times, of an individual asset of livestock,
determining, via a processor, an optimal breeding time of the individual asset of livestock based on the received indication of mount activity,
presenting, on a display screen, the optimal breeding time of the individual asset of livestock to a user, and indication of each of the number of mount incidents with one of the number of incidents indicated as being presently selected, and
enabling user input selection of at least one of the presented indications of the number of mount incidents for consideration in determining the optimal breeding time.
