1. A method of wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE), comprising:
applying a plurality of positioning reference signal (PRS) processing windows to a PRS resource received from a network node over a multipath channel;
determining a plurality of channel estimates for the PRS resource based on the plurality of PRS processing windows;
determining a plurality of positioning measurements of the PRS resource based on the plurality of channel estimates, wherein each feature of a plurality of features of the PRS resource represents a part of a channel estimate of the plurality of channel estimates, and wherein the part of the channel estimate comprises less than or equal to a threshold number of channel taps of the multipath channel; and
receiving the threshold from a location server.
