1. A method comprising:
performing, by the first mobile device, a calibration process that discovers a location within the first mobile device where a first Near Field Communication (NFC) device is located based on exchanging information between the first NFC device and a third NFC device during the calibration process, and performing the calibration process further comprises:
displaying, by the first mobile device, a visual indication of a potential tap zone corresponding to a potential location where the first NFC device may be located,
determining, by the first mobile device, whether information has been read by the first NFC device from the third NFC device as a result of a tap of the third NFC device at the potential tap zone, and
when information is determined not to have been read by the first NFC device,
determining that another potential tap zone exists in a different location where the first NFC device may be located in the first mobile device,
displaying, by the first mobile device, another visual indication corresponding to the different location where the another potential tap zone is located, and
repeating the determining that another potential tap zone exists and the displaying the another visual indication until information is determined to have been read by the first NFC device from the third NFC device, and
when information is read by the first NFC device at either the potential location or the different location, storing the potential location or the different location where the information has been read as a location within the first mobile device where the first NFC device is located;
creating, by the first device based on the location of the first NFC device, a user interface depicting an image of a tap zone, the user interface different from a user interface rendered on the first device, and the tap zone being an area of the first mobile device that a second NFC device of a second mobile device may be placed in proximity to enable NFC communication to occur between the first and second NFC devices; and
sending the user interface to the second mobile device that contains the second NFC device causing the second mobile device to display the user interface with the image on a display screen of the second mobile device.
