1. An optical display system comprising:
an optical waveguide combiner, comprising:
a waveguide optical substrate; and
an optical output coupler on or in the waveguide optical substrate; and
a camera;
wherein the camera has a field of view of at least one virtual object displayable at an image plane by the optical waveguide combiner, the displayable at least one virtual object being in the field of view of an eyebox of the optical waveguide combiner; and
wherein, at the image plane, the displayable at least one virtual object is within the field of view of the camera.
