1. A computer-implemented method for generating a verification non-fungible token and a travel non-fungible token, the computer-implemented method comprising:
receiving, by communications hardware, an event generation request, wherein the event generation request comprises at least an asset identifier and one or more authentication credentials;
in response to receiving the event generation request, capturing, by non-fungible token generation circuitry, an asset position and a timestamp;
performing, by authentication circuitry, one or more authentication operations on the event generation request based on the asset identifier and the one or more authentication credentials; and
in an instance in which the one or more authentication operations authenticates the event generation request:
generating, by the non-fungible token generation circuitry, the verification non-fungible token for the asset identifier,
generating, by the non-fungible token generation circuitry, the travel non-fungible token, wherein the travel non-fungible token comprises information pertaining to the verification non-fungible token and one or more other verification non-fungible tokens that occurred within a defined time window, and
storing, by the communications hardware, the verification non-fungible token and the travel non-fungible token in an associated distributed ledger.
