1. A method performed by a terminal to communicate with a base station, the method comprising:
receiving allocation information about a feedback channel including a plurality of resources;
generating feedback information based on an estimated channel between the terminal and the base station;
generating a bit string by encoding the feedback information based on an encoding scheme extracted from the allocation information; and
transmitting a channel feedback on the feedback channel based on the bit string having the feedback information encoded thereto,
wherein the channel feedback corresponds to a plurality of transmission power levels of the plurality of resources, and
wherein the plurality of transmission power levels represent at least a portion of the feedback information.
