1. A wireless connection system comprising:
a wireless power transmission system comprising:
a transmitter antenna configured to couple with at least one receiver antenna of a wireless receiver system and transmit a transmission to the wireless receiver system via connection with the at least one receiver antenna, the transmission comprising a wireless power signal and an asynchronous serial data signal, the wireless receiver system is associated with an electronic device that is packaged in packaging materials;
a transmission controller configured to:
provide a driving signal for driving the transmitter antenna based on an operating frequency for the wireless power transmission system, wherein the driving signal causes the transmitter antenna to emit the transmission in accordance with the driving signal, wherein the transmission is configured to generate (i) the wireless power signal and (ii) the asynchronous serial data signal that is (a) in-band of the wireless power signal, (b) encoded in accordance with a Near Field Communication (NFC) data transfer protocol, and (c) is a universal asynchronous receiver-transmitter (UART) compliant data signal, and
generate the UART compliant data signal in accordance with the NFC data transfer protocol by packetizing the UART compliant data signal in a synchronous NFC data stream having a header with a synchronizing command and length command;
the wireless receiver system is configured to:
receive the transmission from the wireless power transmission system,
after receiving the transmission:
provide electrical power rectified from the transmission to a load of the electric device while the electronic device is packaged in the packaging materials, and
provide the asynchronous serial data signal to a data recipient of the electronic device while the electronic device is packaged in the packaging materials,
the wireless receiver system comprising:
the at least one receiver antenna configured for inductive coupling with the transmitter antenna and receiving the transmission from the transmitter antenna, the at least one receiver antenna operating based on the operating frequency for the wireless power transmission system; and
a receiver controller configured to:
decode the transmission to extract a first data signal compliant with the NFC data transfer protocol and decode the first data signal to extract the asynchronous serial data signal, wherein the asynchronous serial data signal comprises one or more of (i) software for the electronic device, (ii) firmware for the electronic device, (iii) or combinations thereof.
