1. A power tool comprising:
a main body supporting a motor rotatably driving a rotor shaft;
a handle portion; and
an electronic switch module supported by the handle, the electronic switch module comprising:
a module body;
a trigger moveable relative to the module body;
a magnet being moveable relative to the module body along a movement axis;
a spring disposed between the trigger and the magnet to bias the magnet along the movement axis with the movement of the trigger; and
a linear Hall sensor fixed relative to the module body and intersecting the movement axis of the magnet, the linear Hall sensor magnetically detecting a linear position of the magnet along the movement axis and outputting a voltage signal based on the detected linear position.
