1. A method for information handling system manufacture, the method comprising:
deploying a first set of plural information handling systems from a manufacturing location to plural operational end users, each of the first set of plural information handling systems having a portable housing, a processor, a memory and a display interfaced with the processor and operable to present information as visual images the display built into the housing;
tracking display performance of each of the first set of plural information handling systems with instructions executing on each of the first set of plural information handling systems;
returning at least some of the first set of plural information handling systems to the manufacture location;
disassembling the at least some of the first set of plural information handling systems to separate the display;
comparing display performance of the tracking against a display benchmark to associate each separated display and each deployed display with a performance characteristic; and
assembling a second set of plural information handling systems with displays selected from new displays, the deployed displays and the separated displays, the separated displays selected by reference to the comparing to build the second set of plural information handling systems to have selected of plural performance characteristics.
