1. A method comprising:
performing, by an aggregation engine, discovery of an information handling system (IHS) platform type;
requesting, by the aggregation engine, a virtualized platform configuration register engine tree and/or topology from a security processor of the IHS;
creating, by the security processor, the virtualized platform configuration register engine tree of the IHS platform, to return a list of handles and mapping of IHS platform components to the aggregation engine;
creating, by the aggregation engine, a virtualized platform configuration register engine log structure, based on the list of handles and mapping of IHS platform components;
sending, by the aggregation engine, in response to detection of a new component in the IHS platform by the aggregation engine, a topology rediscovery trigger to the security processor;
creating, by the security processor, in response to the trigger, a new virtualized platform configuration register engine;
returning, by the security processor, to the aggregation engine, a handle and map of the new virtualized platform configuration register engine; and
updating, by the aggregation engine, the virtualized platform configuration register engine log structure, based on the handle and map of the new virtualized platform configuration register engine.
