1. A mixer comprising:
an intermediate manifold channel;
a plurality of primary transfer channels fluidly connected to the intermediate manifold channel, each of the primary transfer channels having an inlet, and outlet and a volume that is different than a volume of each of the other primary transfer channels; and
a plurality of secondary transfer channels fluidly connected to the intermediate manifold channel, each of the secondary transfer channels having a volume that is different from a volume of each of the other secondary transfer channels,
wherein the fluid connection of each of the primary transfer channels with the intermediate manifold channel is arranged opposite to a fluid connection of a corresponding one of each of the secondary transfer channels and wherein the volumes of the transfer channels of at least one of the primary transfer channels and the secondary transfer channels increase linearly.
