1. A refrigeration apparatus, comprising:
a refrigerant circuit including a first compressor, a second compressor connected to a discharge side of the first compressor, and an evaporator, the refrigerant circuit being switchable between a first operation of performing a refrigeration cycle in which the first compressor is stopped and the second compressor is driven and a second operation of performing a refrigeration cycle in which the first and second compressors and are driven,
the refrigerant circuit including a bypass line (PB) that connects a suction side and the discharge side of the first compressor together, such that fluid may flow between the suction side and the discharge side of the first compressor through the bypass line (PB), the bypass line including a check valve thereon which allows refrigerant to flow from the suction s of the first compressor to the discharge side of the first compressor through the bypass line and restricts flow of refrigerant of the discharge side of the first compressor to the suction side of the first compressor through the bypass line,
the refrigeration apparatus further including a reduction mechanism configured to reduce a refrigerant flowing into the first compressor while a first condition is satisfied during the first operation, the first condition indicating that an internal pressure of the first compressor is lower than an evaporation pressure of the evaporator.
