1. A sidewall coring tool assembly, comprising:
a coring shaft comprising:
a first axial end configured to be coupled to a coring motor shaft;
a second axial end;
an internal cavity defined by an internal surface of the coring shaft;
a plurality of scoops disposed circumferentially on a first external surface of the coring shaft and protruding from the first external surface, and wherein each scoop of the plurality of scoops forms a conduit extending between an exit window formed in the first external surface and an entry window formed in the internal surface, the entry window facing a direction of rotation of the coring shaft; and
a coring bit coupled to the coring shaft at the second axial end of the coring shaft.
