1. A stitch guide tool comprising:
a first plate and an opposing second plate attached to the first plate by a hinge, wherein the first plate and second plate are each configured to pivot about the hinge relative to each other;
a first series of holes each extending through the first plate, wherein the holes of the first series of holes are aligned along a first straight line;
a first slot extending through the first plate, wherein the first slot is disposed along the first straight line along which the first series of holes is aligned so that the first slot connects each of the holes in the first series of holes;
a second series of holes each extending through the second plate, wherein the holes of the second series of holes are aligned along a second straight line; and
a second slot extending through the second plate, wherein the second slot is disposed along the second straight line along which the second series of holes is aligned so that the second slot connects each of the holes in the second series of holes,
wherein each respective hole of the first series of holes is generally longitudinally aligned with a corresponding hole of the second series of holes when the first plate and the second plate are disposed in a position in which the first plate and the second plate are generally parallel to each other, and
wherein the first straight line and the second straight line are generally parallel to each other, and wherein the first straight line and the second straight line are both positioned within a plane that is generally perpendicular to both the first plate and the second plate when the first plate and the second plate are disposed in a position in which the first plate and the second plate are generally parallel to each other.
