1. A surgical access device, comprising:
a cannula body including a housing and an elongated portion extending distally from the housing, the elongated portion defining a longitudinal axis;
a first suture retention mechanism positioned radially outward of the elongated portion of the cannula body; and
a foam sleeve radially surrounding at least a portion of the elongated portion of the cannula body and positioned distally of the first suture retention mechanism, wherein the foam sleeve is configured to be passed through by a suture.
