1. A threshing and separation method to separate grains from material other than grain (MOG) via threshing and separating apparatuses comprising:
passing grain through openings in a straight bar concave having straight bars with a rectangular cross-section;
passing grain through openings in a plurality of round bar concaves each having round bars with an elliptical cross-section; and
passing grain through openings in a plurality of separating grates;
wherein the size of MOG progressively decreases as the grain and MOG pass through the sequence.
