determining, by a computing system, that a broadcaster of a first live content stream has identified at least one user of a system to join as co-broadcaster, wherein the at least one user is identified from a list of suggested co-broadcasters, wherein the list includes viewers of the first live content stream with at least a threshold number of followers in the system;
providing, by the computing system, a merged live content stream for access through the system, wherein the merged live content stream includes the first live content stream of the broadcaster and a second live content stream associated with the at least one identified user, and wherein the merged live content stream is accessible to followers of the at least one identified user as long as the at least one identified user is co-broadcaster; and
sending, by the computing system, at least one notification to one or more other users of the system, wherein the notification informs the one or more other users about the merged live content stream.
