1. A non-transitory tangible machine readable medium comprising instructions configured to cause at least one processor on at least one infrastructure management device to perform a process comprising:
a) monitoring at least one Information Technology (“IT”) device from among a multitude of IT devices communicatively connected over a network;
b) determining at least one IT device state for at least one of the multitude of IT devices based on a message generated by another of the multitude of IT devices about the disconnecting of the first user's connection to the another of the multitude of IT devices, wherein the at least one IT device state indicates:
i) a first user's connection to the another of the multitude of IT devices disconnects, and
ii) the at least one of the multitude of IT devices is connected via a port to the another of the multitude of IT devices and a leftover session established with the at least one of the multitude of IT devices via the port over the first user's connection remains open even after the first user's connection to the another of the multitude of IT devices disconnects; and
c) performing at least one action from a multitude of possible actions on the at least one IT device, determined at least in part, by the at least one IT device state, and wherein the at least one action of the multitude of possible actions comprises closing, in response to determining the at least one IT device state, the leftover session and the port before a second user's connection to the at least one of the multitude of IT devices is started, wherein the multitude of possible actions further comprise at least one or more of the following:
i) comparing at least two of the at least one IT device state; or
ii) comparing at least one IT device state change.
