1. A method for wireless communications at a user equipment (UE), comprising:
communicating with a wireless device using a first antenna of a plurality of antennas;
obtaining a communication measurement for each antenna of the plurality of antennas;
determining that a first communication measurement for the first antenna is less than at least another communication measurement for the plurality of antennas for a time threshold;
updating a dynamic threshold from a first threshold value to a second threshold value different from the first threshold value based at least in part on the determining;
switching from the first antenna to a second antenna of the plurality of antennas based at least in part on a comparison between the updated dynamic threshold and a comparison value that is based at least in part on the first communication measurement; and
communicating with the wireless device using the second antenna based at least in part on the switch.
