1. A method for providing color vision deficiency assistance by selectively recoloring pixels of an image frame including unperceivable colors, wherein the method is implemented by at least one processor executing program instructions stored in a memory, the method comprising:
rescaling the image frame using a first set of rules, wherein the first set of rules comprises converting the retrieved image of resolution M by N into a resolution P by Q, and wherein the first set of rules comprises converting the retrieved image frame of resolution M by N into a desired resolution P by Q using the equation P/X=2i, where (2i×X)≤M<(2(i+1)×X), X>=3, P/X>=1 and Q/Y=2j, where (2j×Y)≤N<(2(j+1)×Y), Y>=3, Q/Y>=1, wherein M, N, P, Q, X, Y, i and j are integers;
selecting a predefined perceivable color space based on one or more parameters;
identifying one or more pixels of the rescaled image frame associated with respective unperceivable colors for recoloring using a second set of rules; and
recoloring the identified one or more pixels using the selected perceivable color space and a third set of rules.
