1. A gasket for providing an electrically conductive connection between two pipes, the gasket having an inner radial surface and an outer radial surface, and comprising:
(a) a resilient sealing bulb;
(b) a rigid gasket heel connected to the sealing bulb, the gasket heel comprising a groove on the outer radial surface and a retainer on the outer radial surface opposite the sealing bulb; and
(c) a plurality of conductive bodies, each forming a majority of the surface of the groove; wherein said gasket conducts at least about 300 A (5 min).
