1. A method, comprising,
establishing, by a distributed unit of a Radio Access Network (RAN) node, a connection with a wireless device for a multicast and/or broadcast service;
providing, by the distributed unit, the multicast and/or broadcast service by using a first transmission to the wireless device;
receiving, by the distributed unit from the wireless device, feedback information in response to the provided multicast and/or broadcast service;
checking, by the distributed unit, whether allocating radio resource for a second transmission is available;
based on that the allocating radio resource for the second transmission is available, transmitting, by the distributed unit to a central unit of the RAN node, a first switching message based on the received feedback information, wherein the first switching message includes a request for a switch from the first transmission to the second transmission for the multicast and/or broadcast service;
receiving, by the distributed unit from the central unit, a second switching message to switch the first transmission to the second transmission for the multicast and/or broadcast service, wherein the second switching message includes a confirmation for the switch from the first transmission to the second transmission for the multicast and/or broadcast service, in response to the request included in the first switching message;
performing, by the distributed unit, the switch from the first transmission to the second transmission upon receiving the second switching message; and
providing, by the distributed unit, the multicast and/or broadcast service by using the second transmission to the wireless device,
wherein the first transmission is one of unicast transmission or multicast transmission, and the second transmission is another one of unicast transmission or multicast transmission.
