1. A method at a second access and mobility management entity, comprising:
receiving, from a first access and mobility management entity, at least one authentication and authorization status for a terminal device for at least one network slice of a network during a handover procedure;
deciding to skip at least one network slice-specific authentication and authorization procedure for the terminal device for the at least one network slice of the network based on the received at least one authentication and authorization status that indicates that a result of the network slice-specific authentication and authorization was successful or was a failure; and
skipping the at least one network slice-specific authentication and authorization procedure.
