1. A method of generating an encoded video, the method comprising:
analyzing encoding statistics of one or more previously encoded frames, wherein a previously encoded frame has been generated by encoding a frame in a video, wherein the encoding statistics correspond to a foveated region of each of the one or more previously encoded frames;
determining one or more quantization parameters for a current frame in the video based on the encoding statistics of the one or more previously encoded frames; and
encoding the current frame using the one or more quantization parameters.
