1. An amplifier comprising:
a first input transistor;
a first cascode transistor coupled between the first input transistor and a first output terminal of the amplifier;
a balun coupled to the first output terminal, wherein
during a transmit mode, the amplifier is activated while the balun is configured to receive a positive power supply voltage, and
during a receive mode, the amplifier is deactivated while the balun is configured to receive the positive power supply voltage that reverse biases a p-n junction at a source-drain terminal of the first cascode transistor.
