1. A battery module comprising:
a battery cell stack including a plurality of battery cells;
a housing for the battery cell stack;
a pair of end plates covering a front surface and a rear surface of the battery cell stack, wherein each of the pair of end plates is coupled to the housing;
a heat sink positioned below a bottom portion of the housing, and
at least two cooling ports connected to the heat sink,
wherein each of the pair of end plates includes:
at least one first mounting portion positioned between a side edge of the end plate and one of the at least two cooling ports adjacent to the respective side edge of the end plate, and extending in a protrusion direction of an electrode lead protruding from the battery cell; and
at least one second mounting portion positioned between two adjacent cooling ports of the at least two cooling ports, and extending in the protrusion direction of the electrode lead protruding from the battery cell.
