1. A doorbell system, comprising:
a communication system;
a doorbell communicatively coupled to a remote computing device through the communication system, the doorbell comprising a doorbell camera, a processor, a speaker, and a housing;
a chime communicatively coupled to a device selected from the group consisting of the remote computing device, the doorbell, and a combination thereof;
an infrared camera coupled to the housing; and
a light coupled to the housing, the light configured to flash at one of a plurality of frequencies, each one of the plurality of frequencies corresponding to an occurrence of an emergency event, the doorbell being further communicatively coupled through the communication system to a facial recognition system comprising a remote computer and facial recognition software, the facial recognition system being configured to match images, captured by the doorbell camera, with facial recognition data accessed by the remote computer, the facial recognition data being communicated to the doorbell system in connection with the match, the processor being configured to cause the speaker to voice an indication of an identity, recognized in connection with the match of an image, captured by the doorbell camera at the doorbell.
