25. An apparatus for wireless monitoring of an energy storage device, comprising:
an energy storage device comprising an electrode, the electrode comprising an active battery material and a nanotube network configured to affect a resistance of the electrode;
a radio-frequency identification (RFID) system comprising:
a RFID tag comprising a conductive material, the RFID tag attached to the electrode or embedded within the electrode, wherein the RFID tag is configured to generate a magnetic field in response to a current in the electrode acting on the conductive material; and
a RFID reader external to the energy storage device and configured to receive the magnetic field; and
one or more processors, wherein at least one processor is configured to:
determine a first value of the current of the electrode of the energy storage device based on the magnetic field; and
compare the first value of current to a threshold value or range,
wherein the nanotube network is movable relative to the active battery material in response to the current.
