1. A computer-implemented method comprising:
accessing a first identification code associated with an asset;
accessing internal data associated with the asset, wherein the internal data is not publicly accessible;
transforming the first identification code into a second identification code by performing an anonymization operation on the first identification code, wherein the anonymization operation comprises seeding the first identification code with the internal data associated with the asset via a logical operator to generate output and shifting characters of the output based at least in part on the internal data to generate the second identification code; and
writing the second identification code to a memory bank of a tag.
