14. A system comprising:
a microfluidic analysis apparatus that comprises or receives a container configured to hold a fluid for measurement of analyte or quality determination;
an acoustic transducer configured to apply acoustic energy to the fluid;
an imaging device configured to obtain an image of the fluid in the container; and
one or more processing devices configured to
identify, based on information from the image, a particle free region of the fluid based on the image;
identify, in the image, a portion representing a transparent portion of the container; and
use brightness of the portion representing the transparent portion of the container as a reference point to evaluate brightness of other portions of the image.
