17. A golf club head comprising:
a body, comprising a bottom portion, a top portion, a front portion, and a back portion, wherein the body has a volume, a front-rear dimension of at least about 111 mm and no more than 127 mm, a maximum club head height (H) no more than 71 mm, and a heel-toe dimension no less than the front-rear dimension, and wherein a silhouette profile along a perimeter of the top portion defines an outer bound of the top portion in an X-direction and a Y-direction;
a sole, located on the bottom portion of the body;
a face, located at the front portion of the body and having a variable thickness, wherein the face is configured to receive an impact with a golf ball;
a head origin defined as a position on a face plane at a geometric center of the face, the head origin including an x-axis, tangential to the face and generally parallel to ground when the golf club head is in an address position on the ground where a positive x-axis extends towards a heel portion, a y-axis, extending perpendicular to the x-axis and generally parallel to the ground when the golf club head is in the address position where a positive y-axis extends from the face and through a rearward portion of the body, and a z-axis, extending perpendicular to the ground, to the x-axis and to the y-axis when the golf club head is in the address position where a positive z-axis extends from the head origin and generally upward; and
a weight attached to the golf club head below the top portion, near the back portion, and proximate to the perimeter of the top portion;
wherein:
the golf club head has a center of gravity with an x-axis coordinate, a y-axis coordinate, and a z-axis coordinate less than about 2 mm;
the silhouette profile comprises at least a first contour extending along an outer toe edge of the golf club head and a second contour extending along an outer heel edge of the golf club head;
the first contour extends at least from a toe-side forward portion of the golf club head to the back portion of the body and the second contour extends at least from a heel-side forward portion of the golf club head to the back portion of the body;
the first contour and the second contour are asymmetric about a Y-Z plane passing through a rearward-most point of the golf club head;
a majority of the first contour is curved and a majority of the second contour is curved;
the golf club head has a coefficient of restitution greater than about 0.810;
the y-axis coordinate of the center of gravity is between 30 mm and 50 mm;
the golf club head has a moment of inertia about a center of gravity x-axis, ICGx, of at least about 300 kg·mm2 and no more than 500 kg·mm2;
the golf club head has a moment of inertia about a center of gravity z-axis, ICGz, of at least about 450 kg·mm2 and no more than 650 kg·mm2;
at least a portion of the top portion is formed of a composite material;
the weight is attached to the bottom portion of the golf club head;
the weight is attached below the head origin when the golf club head is in the address position; and
a rearward-most portion of the golf club head is located below the head origin when the golf club head is in the address position.
