1. A device for neuromuscular stimulation or electromyography, comprising:
a compression sleeve comprising a stretchy fabric material configured to be worn on an associated human limb;
multiple electrodes housed within the compression sleeve and arranged to electrically contact skin of the associated human limb when the compression sleeve is worn on the associated human limb; and
an inner disposable sleeve surrounded by the compression sleeve, the inner disposable sleeve comprising a conductive medium in contact with the multiple electrodes, wherein the conductive medium comprises a hydrogel which is relatively more conductive in a z-direction than in a x-direction or a y-direction.
