1. A system comprising:
a Stokes light path configured to supply a Stokes light with a first range of wavelengths for emitting to a target via an optical I/O path;
a pump light path configured to supply a pump light with a second range of wavelengths, wherein wavelengths in the second range of wavelengths have shorter wavelengths than wavelengths in the first range of wavelengths, for emitting to the target via the optical I/O path;
a probe light path configured to supply a probe light with a range of probe light wavelengths, wherein the probe light wavelengths are shorter than wavelengths of a first CARS light which is generated by the Stokes light and the pump light only, for emitting to the target via the optical I/O path; and
a detector configured to detect a second CARS light with a range of wavelengths, wherein wavelengths of the second CARS light are shorter than the wavelengths of the probe light, wherein the second CARS light is generated by the Stokes light, the pump light, and the probe light at the target.
