1. A surgical stapling system, comprising:
a shaft;
a closure driver;
a firing driver comprising a cam; and
an end effector attached to said shaft, wherein said end effector comprises:
a first jaw;
a second jaw movable relative to said first jaw, wherein said second jaw is configured to be moved into a fully clamped position during distal movement of said closure driver through a closure stroke; and
a staple cartridge comprising a plurality of staples removably stored therein, wherein said staples are configured to be ejected from said staple cartridge toward said second jaw during distal movement of said firing driver through a staple firing stroke, wherein said cam is configured to engage said second jaw during said staple firing stroke, and wherein said firing driver and said closure driver are configured to move distally simultaneously through only a portion of said closure stroke, wherein the portion of said closure stroke begins after said second jaw is in a partially clamped position and prior to said second jaw being moved into said fully clamped position.
