1. An apparatus for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE), comprising:
one or more memories; and
one or more processors, coupled to the one or more memories, configured to:
receive an indication of a restriction on a combination of frequency components permitted to be used by the UE for carrier aggregation or frequency hopping, wherein the restriction indicates at least two frequency components that are not permitted to be combined for carrier aggregation or frequency hopping based at least in part on a number of times that the UE can change beam weights in a slot, or a processing time and latency associated with applying received beam weights; and
communicate based at least in part on the restriction.
